Its frame looks just like metal; it is actually a light and durable plastic with a silver tone finish. Behind glass, the clock face features a waterfall scene with: Trust in the Lord from Proverbs 3:5. At the top of every hour (when there is light in the room), the clock plays a melody, alternating between one of three famous hymns: Amazing Grace, Rock of Ages, and What a Friend We Have in Jesus. Each melody lasts 20-30 seconds. A light sensor at the top of the clock face deactivates the music when the room is dark. Clock requires three AA batteries (not included).
